With the combination of rapier like wit and dramatic physical comedy (most of which he asks to have removed in post) Matthew MacVane is a brilliant talent that cannot sustain more than four seconds of screen time. Whether it is drinking two bottles of malt liquor in 10 seconds, handling firearms, carrying two hundred pound people on his shoulder for extended takes, falling from tables, dropping his pants, or pronouncing periods Matthew always seems to play characters that are at once over the top and understated.

He came on the scene with a bang (actually it was some moaning and an "Oh my stomach hurts") in Peace Productions 2001 effort Truant. His Blitzkrieg like performance stole the show from th e talented squealing of Adam Curren, the chiseled pecks of Arthur Boutin, the uncontrollable grin of Alexa Trolley, and the exposed ass of Alan Finitsis. With this brief performance Matthew cemented his reputation as a known sex offender and a master of cinema kind of like Roman Polanski.

In March 2002 Matthew took Jim Finitsis into the woods of Maine under the guises of filming scenes for the would-be film End of World. Matthew fully intended to kill Jim but unfortunately just as he was about to shoot Jim in the back a scruffy wood elf, later identified as Don MacVane, appeared and Matthew was thus forced to give up the idea of shooting Jim and even worse forced to play out the rest of the movie. Consequently, End of World contains some amazing scenes of Matthew acting crazy and some disparaging comments about Maine.

When thinking of Matthew it is important to remember that he isn't just a 350 pound man. He is a series of seven 50 pound Korean midgets all working in concert to produce the effect of a gigantic slightly "exceptional" man. Those people that love Matthew have been know to say, "You scared me last night." People who don' t love Matthew say pretty much the same thing but with a stream of piss running down their leg. In short Matthew is at once "Brilliant!" and "Horrible, just horrible."

Fun Facts:

~ Matthew, depending largely on how drunk he has been, has lusted after almost all the women on the Peace Production roster. Despite this fact he has only French Kissed one Peace Production Player: Steve Pieroni. Ask Matthew to show you the scar on his upper lip from where a surprised Steve bit him" Ask Steve to show you his restraining order.

~ During filming of End of World Matthew was on mood altering appetite suppressants. As such Matthew dropped nearly thirty pounds between the scenes filmed with Joseph Kennedy and the scene filmed with Jim and Artie.
